former Database Manager, Gene Yetter, has compiled a species checklist
drawn from three past NEMF Forays held in the Catskills region. Directions & Maps page has been updated. We have added a downloadable version there. Our Socials Chair, Sue Rose has invited participation in the planned Evening Socials. See the Program page for her request. Our
Mycophagy chair, Elinoar Shavit, has put out a call for recipes to be
used at our mushroom tasting on Saturday afternoon. For more

of August 1, 2010 registration stands at 241. We have approximately 14
beds left in the dormitory and 19 commuter plans remaining. The Northeast Mycological Federation is holding its 2010 Sam Ristich Foray at Soyuzivka, Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Center, in Kerhonkson, NY. Soyuzivka (Soy-u-'zhif-ka) is just south of the Catskills in the Shawangunk Ridge region, easily accessible from I-87 and I-84.
Modeled after the architecture of the Carpathian mountains, the
buildings that
make up the resort were embellished by the famous woodcarver,
Cherniovsky.
