Sam's Page
Dr. Samuel Ristich, originally from Eastern Europe, is our GURU.
NEMF named its annual forays in his honor, and it is the privilege of
anyone who has met him to have met him -- he is the most charismatic
person and teacher imaginable. His original field was entomology. By
now, he is equally expert in plants, such as wild flowers. And trees.
And fungi. You select -- he can name it and teach it to you --
you will end up being enthusiastic about something that would never
before been of any interest to you.
